At Fedw we welcome visits from owners and friends. We encourage them to come and spend quality time with their horse/pony. Locally there are some excellent B&B and hotel facilities with reasonable rates. There are many pubs and restaurants within the locality also offering very good value for money services and hospitality. The Castle Coaching Inn, The Usk & Railway, The White House Inn are all popular with our owners.
Car travel is essential as there are no local bus or train links. Our nearest airport is Cardiff Airport.
The Brecon Beacons offer a wide range of attractions but apart from the obvious outstanding scenery the relaxing and stress-free environment is its major advantage.
Owners often take time out to visit Dan-Yr Ogof show caves and St Fagan’s The Museum of Welsh Life.
During 2005/6 Sennybridge MOD Training Area opened a 60km track for riding, walking and mountain biking, 'The Epynt Way'. This is easily accessible from Fedw, as is Halfway Forestry and the Crychan Forest which are ideal places to walk your dog.
